RISE up for Literacy Consulting
Looking for a Literacy Consultant who brings the wisdom of Jan Richardson to your school?
Leslie Lausten was one of the first Reading Specialists to use the RISE module for intervention. She also has experience with helping her school transition to using Jan Richardson´s Next Step Forward in Guided Reading to create a school wide approach to reading instruction.
Field Tested
Leslie has worked with students and staff to implement RISE and RISE Up as well as Guided Reading K-5 at her school as a literacy specialist and coach.
She has worked with both Jan Richardson and Ellen Lewis to field test the RISE and RISE up program and books from the RISE Scholastic kit.
Arts Integration
Leslie is also well versed in using the Artful Thinking Strategies for Visual Arts and Literacy connections and can offer workshops in this as well.
